Choon Chae - #9 Forever

On January 1st, 2023, The New Hampshire Rebellion (fka The Northeast Ruckus) suffered heartbreak after unexpectedly losing beloved teammate, Choon Chae. 

Choon came into her rookie season with a bang. Within the first few days of being recruited, she was geared up & ready to get onto the field. By the way she sauntered onto the field, you'd never know she hadn't played before the 2022 season. She ended the season being in the top 10, for the WFA, in receiving with 5 receptions totaling 63 yards. 

Off the field, Choon was an absolute delight. Overcoming adversities at such a young age, she was always seen as a positive reinforcement. She loved a good cheeseburger & creating a style all her own. She was unapologetically herself. 

With her untimely passing, the players, coaches & organization have decided that the #9 will be retired in her honor.
